Passcord helps you keep a personal record of the places you visit and the flights you take. This policy explains how ZIZICICI LIMITED handles your information when you use Passcord.
Your Location and Travel History
With your permission, Passcord records your location and the time of each visit, along with details such as altitude and movement. If you enable background recording, this can happen even when the app is not open. Recordings from your Apple Watch can be transferred to your paired iPhone.
Your saved location history and travel records are stored on your device. Our push recording service does not receive your recorded locations.
Photos and Files You Import
With Photos access, Passcord can display your photos and videos and use their dates and locations to help you import past journeys. You can also import location records from files you choose. Passcord does not upload your photos, videos, or imported files to our servers. Apple may download media from iCloud Photos when you view it.
Features That Use Online Services
For push recording, our service keeps information needed to reach your device, your recording schedule, and your purchase and usage status. It uses this information to trigger recordings and apply usage limits.
For flight information and historical flight tracks, the flight you request and its date are sent to our flight service and, when needed, our flight data provider, VariFlight. These queries do not upload your personal location history.
Our services and infrastructure providers, including Cloudflare, process connection information such as IP addresses and service activity to operate reliably and prevent misuse.
Crash Reports
Passcord uses Firebase Crashlytics, provided by Google, to identify crashes and improve app stability. Crash reporting is enabled by default. When the app crashes, Crashlytics may receive a crash report containing a stack trace, relevant app state, the app version, the time of the crash, device and operating system information, and identifiers associated with the app installation.
We do not use Firebase to store your saved location history, travel records, photos, or imported files. Google processes Crashlytics data on our behalf. For more information about Firebase's data practices and retention, see Firebase Privacy and Security.
Apple Services and Purchases
Passcord uses Apple services for maps, location, Photos, notifications, and purchases. Apple may process information needed for these features under its own privacy practices. Free flight-query usage is synced through your iCloud account. Your device backups may also include Passcord data, depending on your settings.
Apple handles payments. Passcord and our service check your Pro purchase status, but we do not receive your payment card details.
Your Choices and Deleting Data
You can change Location and Photos permissions in Settings, turn off automatic recording, and delete saved records in Passcord. Removing the app removes its local app data. Usage allowances, device backups, and service records may remain separately.
Our services keep registration, usage, and operational records to provide the features you use and protect against misuse. Temporary request records are cleared periodically. Turning off push recording stops scheduled pushes but does not automatically erase the device registration. To ask about or request deletion of information held by us, contact us below.
